sPokrovsky Ensemble, Taganka Theatre, Moscow, led by Maria (Masha) Nefedova and Olga Yukecheva.
Lyric theatre / media theatre piece, exploring images of authenticity, migration, transformation in times of technological change.
Inspired by aspects of Stravinsky’s Les Noces.
VR control hardware devised by media performer/artist Ryan Jordan
Media: song, dance, traditional musical instruments, video, Super 8mm cine-film, shadow play, audio technologies including Edison Cylinder player, vinyl records, magnetic tape, digital audio, online VR space.
Locations: The Clore Ballet Studio at the ROH; a virtual Clore Studio on Second Life (VR platform)
